Costs incurred for a common or joint purpose benefitting more than one cost objective, and not readily assignable to the cost objectives specifically benefitted, without effort disproportionate to the results achieved.

Individual Target Workday Human Capital Management (HCM)

Either an individual target assigned to a worker in worker compensation (different from the plan target) or the target for each employee calculated by Workday during the bonus or merit process, based on configuration options.

Information Technology (IT) Program

All electronic technology systems, products and services. Equipment, software, services, and products used in processing information, office automation, and telecommunications (voice, data and/or video).

Information technology portfolio Program

The planning and management process for information technology resources and investments overseen by the Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Initial costs Program

The same as "first cost" or the cost to provide the service or product in today’s dollars for a project. Different from life cycle costs, or future costs.

Initiation Step Workday Cross Application

An initiation step is the first step of a business process.

Initiative Program

When used with other custom worktags, can be used for state level as well as agency specific purposes.

Initiative 601 Program

A law on state budget restrictions approved by voters in the November 1993 general election. Its primary requirements are: an expenditure limit based on inflation and population growth (applicable to state General Fund expenditures only); an emergency reserve account for any GF-S revenues above the expenditure limit; a percentage limit on how much state fees can be raised without legislative approval; and a two-thirds legislative vote requirement on certain state tax increases.

Inspection (on site) Program

The examination of work completed or in progress to determine its conformance with the requirements of the contract documents.

Instance Workday Cross Application

An instance refers to one unique occurrence of a business object, for example, your Executive Management organization, or John Doe, the worker.

Integration Attribute Workday Integration

An integration component that specifies the tenanted value of a data element in Workday. For example, Master Policy Number is a type of attribute in benefit provider integrations.

Integration Cloud Connect Workday Integration

A catalog of packaged integrations, partner integrations, and connectors to common applications and service providers that extend Workday's functionality. The integrations span the entire range of Workday applications, including Benefits, Human Capital Management, Payroll, Financial Management, and Spend Management. All Cloud Connect integrations are hosted and maintained by Workday.

Integration Connector Workday Integration

A set of one or more integration templates that provides a framework for building integrations in a particular functional area. For example, Workday Payroll Interface is an integration connector. Unlike packaged integrations, an integration connector does not have a named endpoint.

Integration Data Source Workday Integration

Indicates the type of data that Workday will receive from or export to an external system and its location. Workday supports five types of data sources including attachments, external files, standard reports, custom reports, and REST endpoints.

Integration Event Workday Integration

The record of an integration process. Every integration—current or past, involving the import or export of data, successful or not—gets recorded as an integration event. The integration event contains all the information about the integration process, including its status.

Integration Map Workday Integration

An integration component that specifies how values in Workday map to values in an external system. For example, Pay Rate Frequency is a type of map in third-party payroll integrations.

Integration Service Workday Integration

A group of related integration attributes, maps, and XSLT that provides a framework to transform Workday data into the format required by an external system.

Integration System Workday Integration

A tenanted definition of an integration between Workday and an external system, based on a template that provides the methodology needed to communicate data.

Integration Template Workday Integration

A collection of integration services that enables communication between Workday and an external system. Workday provides integration templates in categories such as Benefits, Financials, HCM, Payroll, Payroll Interface, Procurement, Recruiting, Security, and Settlement. Many of the delivered templates contain default values for attributes, as well as prompt values for attributes and maps, to further define the integration.

Integration Transformation Workday Integration

Converts data into a format that Workday or a receiving external system can understand. Workday provides some delivered transformations, and you can also create custom transformations.

Integration Transport Protocol Workday Integration

Controls how Workday exports data to an external system or imports the data from an external system. Workday supports several types of transport protocols, including email, FTP and SFTP, HTTP/SSL, WebDAV, Workday attachments, and Workday Web Services.

Integrations Map Program

An integration component that specifies how values in Workday map to values in an external system. For example, Pay Rate Frequency is a type of map in third-party payroll integrations.

Integrations Mapping/Crosswalks Program

Each integration requires an integration design and field mapping documentation. The integration team is offering agencies a crosswalk integration option to aid with remediation work of some legacy systems during the implementation timeframe or excessive temporary remediations to bridge gaps between phase 1a and phase 1b functionality. The integration team is providing the crosswalk for legacy AFRS COA to/from Workday FDM. These field mappings will be used by OFM to create updated Data Sharing Agreements (DSA).

Inter-local agreement Program

See: Interagency Agreements

Interagency agreements Program

An agreement between government agencies, entities or departments that defines cooperative work or services to be performed between them. The agreement defines the parties involved, the work performed and the transfer of resources, technologies and funds.

Intermittent Leave Workday Human Capital Management (HCM)

A single leave of absence taken as separate blocks of time. To facilitate tracking, you can coordinate time offs with leaves of absence. Validation rules and supporting data for coordinated leaves and time offs can reference combined balances. For example, eligibility and validation rules can check to see if an employee has a sufficient balance across coordinated leave types and time offs to take all days in a leave of absence or time off request.

Internal service fund Program

A fund type used to report activities that provide goods or services to other funds, departments, or agencies of the state on a cost reimbursement basis. Internal service funds are used where the state is the predominate participant in the activity.
